3-D Electro-Anatomical Mapping in Reseda, CA
Three-dimensional electro-anatomical mapping is a computer-based way to display catheter location and reconstruct the anatomy and electrical properties of a heart chamber during an EP study or ablation. It is a tool, not a treatment by itself.
What 3-D mapping is
Recovered education described computerized electroanatomic systems that calculate the real-time position of a catheter tip and display it on a screen. That allows a virtual reconstruction of the chamber being studied, along with electrophysiological characteristics such as voltage and impulse propagation.
The combination of anatomy and electrical information can help a physician locate tissue involved in an arrhythmia.
How it may be used during ablation
